Jiu Jitsu Competition Rules

In this series, PNW's very own black belt and event organizer of the beloved Revolution tournament, Jeff Bourgeois does a high level overview covering some of the rules many Jiu Jitsu practitioners will see during competition. These rules are based on IBJJF competition settings and are Jeff's interpretation of the rules. This video is in no way affiliated with IBJJF itself and is provided as an explanation and understanding of the rules encountered during a competition setting. Practitioners are always encouraged to learn the rules and seek out information specific to the event they are participating in, as every competition is unique in how rules are viewed and handled by that organization. Hopefully this video will help give you a deeper understanding and provide you with another viewpoint on rules in a competitive Jiu Jitsu environment.
